For over a decade, The Angler's Edge has been offering a variety of instruction to the Fly Fisherman. Like Fly Tying classes by expert tiers.  We schedule beginner to advanced classes available during the slower winter season.  We also host guest tiers on occasion to come in and demonstrate advanced techniques and new materials,  Be sure to check the News link to see what's scheduled next!

Certified casting instructors can teach you the fundamentals of casting or help you get rid of old bad habits on your way to becoming a Master flycaster.  Private or Group instruction is available.

We also offer custom Rod building classes with a fine selection of rod blanks available to students.

We specialize in all types of rod repair from salt to collector cane.  Expert reel repair is also available.

We also work closely with Western Nevada Community College to offer a full "life experience" fly-fishing course that covers all the basics you'll need to know to get started in the great sport of fly-fishing.  From beginning casting, knots, fish identification, terminal tackle through to the proper techniques of catch and release fishing.

Please check in at the shop for a current schedule of classes and clinics being offered.  Most classes require a 50% deposit to hold your spot.  Be sure to register early as class sizes are limited for quality and are subject to rescheduling based on weather conditions.
